Write for us
We welcome pitches that bring a fresh, well-bounded perspective to casino culture. A strong proposal explains the subject, the central question, and why a general reader might find the answer worth their time.
What fits
We consider clear essays on casino history, game rituals, venue design, leisure, and the language or imagery surrounding chance. Pitches should offer context rather than promotion, and should not encourage gambling or present outcomes as predictable.
What to include
Send a short summary, a proposed working title, the main points you plan to cover, and any relevant experience or writing samples you choose to share. Tell us whether the piece depends on access, images, or other material, and identify uncertainties rather than writing around them.
How to send a proposal
Proposals are sent through the Contact page. Choose the editorial question option and include your pitch in the message. Please send a proposal rather than a completed article unless we have agreed otherwise; a submission is not a promise of publication.
Curiosity without the promise
We look at casinos as cultural places, games, and stories. Our pages explain what can be described, while keeping chance separate from prediction.
